  1. I wish the WBC, RBC, PLT would have been shown as reference. I had a tech once counting WBC as PLT once and had another tech “verify” her and I walked over to look and asked them both if this is what they were counting as PLTs and they said yes! And I advised that those are not PLTs, those are WBC! I let the DVM know because this was on a IMHA patient! Had I not double checked, the DVM would have gone off their word. Pretty scary. But, it was a great example otherwise.
