  1. Great video, but I wish it discussed contact time and whether that matters. I thought it did, but perhaps not?

  2. I do enjoy my shave and preps! I use to chuckle at owners who were more concerned about how the shave job looked vs how their pet was. I got pretty darn good at making beautiful clips and fast too! Not many DVM’s require males being shaved all the way up to xyphoid process, unless cryptorchid (for castrations). This is a very important step before Sx, this is the frontline from keeping micro organisms out of our Sx field and being able to contaminate our patients!
